Look sharp on any budget.
The rules behind every fit idea in the Omnia style tab. A $20 tee that fits beats a $200 one that doesn't.
1. Fit comes first
- Shoulders: the seam sits right on your shoulder bone. If the shoulders are off, skip it. A tailor can't fix that.
- Shirts: cover your belt, but not past it.
- Sleeves: end at the wrist.
- Pants: just touch your shoes, with no bunching. Hemming is cheap and changes everything.
- Jackets: end near your belt. Longer makes you look shorter.
2. Balance loose with fitted
- Relaxed top, slim bottom, or the other way round. Never baggy on baggy.
- Two or three layers at most, each a little longer than the one under it.
- No chunky shoes. They make your feet look bigger and your legs shorter.
3. Colors that always work
- Build on neutrals: black, white, grey, navy, beige, olive, brown.
- One bold color at most. Roughly 60% one neutral, 30% a second color, 10% an accent.
- One color head to toe reads taller and leaner. Darker slims, lighter feels fresh.
- Light top, dark bottom (or the reverse) defines your shape.
4. The 9 piece basics
- White and black tees
- Dark slim jeans
- Beige or navy chinos
- A white or light blue oxford
- A neutral hoodie
- A bomber or denim jacket
- Clean minimal sneakers
- Leather boots or loafers
- Black and brown belts
These nine mix into dozens of outfits. Omnia ticks off what you own and finds the best value version of what you're missing.
